In a study published in the Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health and one of the largest of its kind, researchers analyzed data from 13,406 pairs of sisters in Sweden. First-borns were 29 percent more likely to be overweight and 40 percent more likely to be obese than their second-born sisters.
